This tea is the result of wonderful serendipity. Mr. Lin is one of our longest-standing and most cherished partners at origin. When we visited him in fall, he shared with us this unexpected find: a New Craft lot that he finished in 2017. Still experimenting at the time, Lin did not sell the entire lot that year and committed the remainder to storage. If New Craft does not fit neatly into a category—just wait until you try it with six years of age. Balanced, sessionable, and savorable—this tea has a pronounced damask rose aroma with ample mouthfeel and soothing spice.
