About Càrn Mòr's Glenrothes 2011

Here we have a 2011 Glenrothes single malt from independent bottler Càrn Mòr. It's a small batch exclusive, finished in oloroso sherry seasoned oak before 1,900 bottles were bottled at 47.5%, natural colour and without chill filtration.

Ask Evan, and he'll tell you that Ed is a sucker for a 'Christmas cake whisky'. Glenrothes as a distillery typically meets the brief when it comes to Christmas whiskies, and this limited edition release from Càrn Mòr is a great example of that. Finished in good quality oloroso sherry casks, this is a lovely fruity, spicy dram. Cheers, Ed
